Service Description: Essex Fire Department, serving the Town of Essex since 1974, became a Licensed First Responder Service in January 2001, and upgraded to an ALS First Responder Service in 2005. We respond to all emergency medical calls within the Town of Essex. The First Responder Team currently consists of 26 EMT’s.
To report an emergency dial 911.
