Procedure for Medical Direction Signing Continuing Education Forms
![]()
EMT-Is needing CE forms signed by medical direction will be brought to the district meetings and signed by medical direction at these meetings. They are to be brought by the service representative and will be signed that night.
EMTs need to pay attention to when there expirations are so there is not a delay in recertification.
It is NOT Medical Directions responsibility to get these forms to the EMS office, it is the individual EMT-I.
No longer will forms be left at the radio room for signatures of medical direction. Unfortunately too many forms got "lost" and never made it to the EMS office. This way the forms will be returned to the service member by the rep. at the district board meeting and will be the sole responsibility of the EMT of who's CE form is being signed.
EMTs should make copies of their CE forms and kept on file at their service.
